Buffer Combat Arms Error

After you've patch and you try to start arms. You get buffer combat arms error. You screen blacks out and a pop up saying the buffer's been overrun and the internal files have been corrupted or something like that. To resolve problem buffer error, right click go to properties and set compatibility to Windows 95.
